• 7/8" is for the cap out side diameter of the plug. It works for grip range from 0.71" to 0.82" ID. Please check the ID of the tube for your project and make sure that the listed grip range works.
• Works on 14-20 Ga tubes with ID Grip Range from 0.71" to 0.82" ID (Inside Dimensions) only.
• The top cap OD (Out Side Diameter) is 7/8". This is specifically designed for 7/8" OD pipes/Tubes.
• Most common mistake is assuming the listed size as internal dimensions. Fact is the listed size is the Out side dimension of the top cap. Inside Grip Range is given in the title and bullet point. Please read the grip range and make sure, its suitable for your TUBE ID.
